So, it was this “universal” style that we had in mind when we designed the TOWN WP. As the name suggests, we’ve designed it for riding in the city and in urban traffic when it rains. The beauty of the full-grain cowhide leather is enough to make it alluring and desirable. Such is its aesthetic: simple and elegant on the outside, the TOWN WP is nevertheless richly endowed with technical features on the inside. Its weatherproofness is guaranteed by a 5_DRYTECH™ waterproof, breathable membrane that’s partially molded to the palm, for excellent support and impeccable grip on the controls. Its metacarpal protective shell, hidden underneath the leather, comes from our ERGO PROTECH® range of ergonomic, honeycombed protective shells specially designed for FIVE to offer the best possible balance between comfort and impact protection. The base of the hand and the hypothenar are protected by a wide leather reinforcement lined in 3 mm-thick foam, for a comfortable grip at the controls. The glove’s closure features a robust leather and Velcro tab, and wrist support is optimized with accordion stitching on its topside zone. The Touch Screen™ system included on the thumb and index finger allows you to zoom in on your smartphone or GPS touchscreen without taking off your glove.
