The Five Spike Pendant distils hostile architecture into a stark, horizontal form. A larger eroded slab with 5 spikes inspired by the metal deterrents found in public to prevent pe ople from stopping, sitting or sleeping. This pendant was created as a protest against the punishment of hostile architecture. The Spike Collection speaks to the sharp edges built into society and ourselves, the silent barriers designed to push people away, to make rest impossible, to turn survival into something punishable. Inspired by the hostile architecture that targets rough sleepers, Spike transforms these forms into a statement. 10% of sales from every Spike Collection piece will be donated to Shelter (charity number 263710), supporting their work for housing justice.
