Back in high school, Ronnie, Val and Daryl made a vow to take care of one another if any of them got sick. When Ronnie’s abusive homelife and mental illness test their vows, the th ree separate to start new lives. Years later, when Ronnie is found wandering the streets of Trenton, NJ, Daryl and Val reluctantly reunite to try to get Ronnie the treatment she should have gotten years ago.
