The flange towbar was the most commonly used type of towbar in the UK and is the only option for many commercial vehicles. On the flange type towbar, the towball is bolted to a faceplate on the tow bar, this allows accessories such as bumper protectors and cycle carrier (whilst leaving the towball free for towing) between the faceplate and towball. Can be used with nearly all accessories. Can be used with a bumper protectors. Most likely to interfere with parking sensors. Please remember to check your vehicle's towing capacity shown on the VIN plate and that your vehicle does not already have a towbar fitted (some detachable/deployable towbars are hidden when not in use. A call-out fee will apply if our fitter attends your appointment and your vehicle doesn't have a towing capacity or already has a towbar fitted. Technical Information
