Fizei Red is a natural Castelão from limestone soils in the Lisboa/Tejo region. Grapes from 20‑year‑old vines are harvested by hand and fermented in open French oak barrels with na tive yeasts. After fermentation, the wine remains on its skins for six months before a gentle press. According to Mur Wine, this red is gastronomic, versatile and classy; it undergoes spontaneous fermentation with minimal sulphites, resulting in a fresh, aromatic wineIt shows bright red fruit, floral notes and a hint of spice with soft tannins.
