The EP opens with 'Inside Out', a stripped-back groove loaded with industrial energy. It blends breakbeats, jungle influences and hardcore licks, fusing genres and eras while keeping that unmistakable FJAAK intensity front and centre. Next, 'Rekorder' delivers intricate beats with a raw, live-jam energy, dropping rigid sequencing for pure groove. Its coarse percussion and shifting melodic layers create a dynamic flow packed with attitude and character. Flip the record and 'Don't Give A F' steps up the pace with racy rolling grooves and relentless drive. The track's multi-genre beats and piercing analogue tones build a warehouse-ready sound that commands attention. Closing the EP, 'Leave A Message' is a special, one-of-a-kind slice of groove-heavy individuality, standing out with its truly unique sound. It combines hard-hitting rhythms with raw, textured layers and sharp transitions that keep you moving from start to finish. Based in Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Robig have crafted their sound since childhood, pushing boundaries since the late 2000s. Known for their rebellious spirit and hardware-only live shows, they've revitalised the club scene with electrifying performances and DJ sets. In 2024, their genre-defying album FJAAK THE SYSTEM merged UK breakbeat, techno, d'n'b, jungle and more, featuring collaborations with Modeselektor, Skee Mask, Red Eye and Spandau20 co-founder J.Manuel. It marked a bold new chapter for the duo. Now, in 2025, FJAAK build on that momentum with fresh music, global tours, and expanding label rosters.
