The Fjord collection is inspired by the landscapes formed between land and sea. Clear blue bodies of water combine with craggy cliffs and trees, translated in a glazing technique c reated by Michael. The dinnerware comes with a 24k gold rim. 8.5" Ceramic With a gold rim, hand washing is recommended, and the dinnerware is not microwave safe. When he graduated from NYU in 1991 with a degree in clay sculpture, he didn't know what to do for a living, so he sold his handmade wares in street fairs and craft shows around New York City on weekends, carting his wares on a handtruck on the subway.
