I carve, scrub, clean, sand (if necessary) and seal the basswood with a high quality finish to preserve its beauty.Each piece of wood is hand selected and meticulouslyprepared to ensure a truly wonderful and striking piece. The stripes are glued together with interior/exterior glue.To ensure longevity, the back of the Cross has 3/8" finished plywood glued and stapled to the stripes.Each star ismeticulously engraved. The Cross is then charred to give it that perfect lightly subdued look.Each Cross is finished with four coats of eitherindoor/outdoor clear Gloss or Satin spar urethane or Matte polyurethane which is an interior finish only.The Cross flag comes ready to hang with hardware attached.Please note that there may be variations in colors due to lighting as well as variations in the pieces of wood.
