Flag Rust Converter is a water based heavy duty rust converter which not only neutralises and encapsulates the rust but also forms a tough and attractive black satin finish. It can be left as a standalone finish or can be overcoated with a solvent based primer or topcoat, please note that it should not be overcoated with Xylene based paints such as Protectakote, Safekote or Flag's Anti Corrosive QD Metal Primer. If in doubt it is always advisable to do a test patch.
