It is not recommended to take with alcohol with this medicine. Take this medicine only if it is necessary to reduce the development of resistance. Uses: Amebiasis Flagyl 400 MG Tablet is used in the amebiasis which is a parasitic infection that affects the intestine and amebic liver abscess caused by Entamoeba histolytica. Trichomoniasis Flagyl 400 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of trichomoniasis which is a sexually transmitted disease caused by Trichomonas vaginalis. Bacterial Vaginosis Flagyl 400 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of overgrowth of bacteria in the vagina caused by Lactobacillus species. Bacterial infections Flagyl 400 MG Tablet is used to treat the infectins caused by bacteria in blood, lungs, genital areas caused by Bacteroides fragilis and Clostridium species. Surgical prophylaxis Flagyl 400 MG Tablet is used to treat infections that may cause after surgery.
