Flaked maize is produced from whole maize that has been cooked and rolled to improve the palatability and energy utilisation of the product. All species benefit from increased prod uctivity - improved growth , production and feed conversion. Micronized maize has special implications where small intestine amylase production is low (young fish) and where hind gut production of short chain fatty acids are undesirable. Carp show the highest digestive proteolytic activity in many mixed lake populations in testing. Suitable for all diets. Recommended for high performance diets and young animal diets. Particularly useful in young animal diets, but ideal for any age. Great when mixed with flaked peas for mouldable groundbait for method/feeder fishing. Bagged in 25kg bags.
