--FLANDERS-- Flanders figs are light tan with violet stripes and a long slender neck, amber pulp with fine rich flavor. Considered one of the best-flavored varieties. They grow two crops a year- a light breba crop and heavy late crop. Trees are vigorous growers. They grow well in coastal locations as well as hot inland areas. Self-fruitful The fruit has a closed eye, and is a Ira Condit Selection Height at maturity: 15'-20' in the ground, but can be kept smaller with pruning or if kept in containers Flanders figs are wonderful container plants, and great for small spaces.
