Restore a Tight, Rattle-Free Duct ConnectionA genuine replacement flange for joining ducting to an OptiClimate Pro 3 air conditioning system. The flange bolts to the unit's inlet or outlet and gives your ducting a firm, round collar to clamp on to. Two sizes are stocked, 250mm (10 inch) and 315mm (12 inch), so match the diameter to the port on your own unit before ordering. Flanges take a beating from repeated duct changes and clamp pressure, and a distorted one will never seal properly again.Key Benefits Genuine part - made to the original dimensions, so the bolt pattern and collar diameter line up first time. Two diameters - 250mm and 315mm cover the common OptiClimate port sizes. Proper seal - a true, undamaged collar lets ducting and clamps grip evenly right the way round. Less noise - a firm connection removes the rattle and buzz you get from a loose or oval flange. Straightforward fit - unbolt the old flange, bolt the new one on, reconnect the ducting. The Cost of a Leaky Duct ConnectionEvery gap at the flange is air your system has already paid to move. Conditioned air escapes into the room before it reaches the canopy, unfiltered air is dragged back in, and the unit works harder to hit the same set point. A worn flange also makes ducting sag, which puts a kink in the run and drops airflow further. Replacing the collar restores the sealed path the system was designed around. How to Use Isolate the unit at the mains and let any fans come to a stop. Loosen the duct clamp and slide the ducting off the old flange. Unbolt the damaged flange and clean the mating face on the unit. Bolt the replacement flange in place, tightening evenly around the ring. Refit the ducting and clamp it firmly, checking for gaps all the way round.
