Krista Bursey AIZYSSE, 2026 Ink on skin8 x 4 inches PRIDE SERIES π³οΈπ In honour of Pride Month, I wanted to dedicate this flash artwork, Aizysse, to my friend and collaborator Aizysse Baga whose artistry embodies the transformative power of self-expression and the freedom that emerges when we allow ourselves to be fully seen. Emerging through luminous folds of vibrant green, electric blue, and vivid violet, the figure exists between concealment and revelation. The flowing forms become both costume and chrysalis, framing a gaze that is at once vulnerable, powerful, and unapologetically present. The piece reflects the understanding that identity is not fixed, but something we continually create, explore, and embody. Inspired by the artistry of drag and the courage required to move beyond expectation, Aizysse celebrates transformation as a creative act. The vivid colours and theatrical forms honour individuality, imagination, and the beauty that emerges when authenticity becomes visible. Available in either full colour or black and grey, Aizysse celebrates self-expression, creative freedom, and the radiant power of becoming who you are.
