Product Description This ARTorch Flashback Arrestor is an essential safety device designed to prevent dangerous gas backflow and reverse flame travel in jewellery workshops. When working with fuel gases and oxygen — especially at the low pressures used by the ARTorch — a reliable flashback arrestor is critical for protecting both the user and the equipment. Engineered for precision micro-torch systems, this arrestor ensures that any unexpected ignition or pressure surge is safely stopped before it can travel back into the regulator or gas supply. It helps maintain safe operation, stable flame behaviour, and peace of mind while soldering, melting, or performing delicate flame work. Key Features Essential Safety Component: Prevents flame from travelling backwards into the hose or regulator Designed for ARTorch Systems: Suitable for the low-pressure operation required by micro torches Protects Equipment: Reduces risk to hoses, regulators, and gas bottles Stable Performance: Helps maintain consistent gas flow for smooth torch operation AU/NZ Compliant: Fittings and safety design meet Australian and New Zealand gas standards Why You Need a Flashback Arrestor Micro torches like the ARTorch use fine, controlled gas flow. Any sudden pressure fluctuation or improper ignition can cause flame to travel backwards toward the regulator. A flashback arrestor prevents this by: Stopping flame from entering the hose or regulator Preventing gas mixing inside the line Providing an additional layer of safety during lighting or pressure adjustment Extending the life of your regulators and hoses Applications ARTorch pinpoint flame systems Jewellery soldering and precision bench torch work Any micro-torch setup requiring controlled, safe gas flow An essential safety accessory for any ARTorch setup — offering reliable protection against gas backflow and ensuring safer daily operation in the jewellery workshop.
