Soft, flaking mica that crumbles light into your palm, lepidolite is the stone the crystal shelf reaches for when a working calls for calm rather than fire. This flat is the wholesale way to keep it close: a full tray of natural lepidolite sold by weight, ready to break down across an altar, a shop shelf, or a season of grids and gifts. Buying a flat is buying in quantity, which suits working practitioners, ritual group leaders, and shop owners who move through stone steadily. Key Features of This Lepidolite Flat A full flat, sold by weight. About three pounds of natural lepidolite in a single tray. Sizes and shapes vary, since this is raw stone broken from larger material rather than calibrated product. Natural lilac rough from Brazil. The pieces show lepidolite's characteristic lavender sheen and layered, micaceous structure. Some flake gently at the edges, which is the nature of a mica and part of how you know it is real. Scaled for working practitioners. A flat is the format for those who use stone in volume: group ritual leaders building grids, teachers handing pieces to students, and shop owners breaking a flat down for resale. Product Details Stone: lepidolite, a lithium-bearing mica Form: natural rough, uncut and untumbled Weight: approximately 3 pounds total per flat, sold by weight Color: lilac; origin: Brazil Note: lepidolite is soft and flakes easily; keep it from water and salt, and store it where it will not be crushed SKU: GFLEP3 The Spiritual Significance In modern crystal practice, lepidolite is the stone of calm and of gentle transition, reached for when a season feels turbulent and the work is to soften and settle. These are contemporary attributions: lepidolite has no entry in Cunningham or the older folk sources, so we leave its element and planet blank rather than assigning it any. Lepidolite is, mineralogically, a lithium-bearing mica, and you will see that fact repeated everywhere with a great deal piled on top of it. Here is the honest version: the lithium is bound in the mineral lattice, it is part of what makes the stone soft and flaking, and it is not bioavailable. It does nothing to your mood. Lepidolite is not a substitute for medication, therapy, or professional care. If you are struggling, please speak to a doctor or a therapist. Working with the stone is a practice of focus and intention, and held to that honest line, it can be exactly what the tradition says it is: a quiet companion. How To Use a Lepidolite Flat Cleanse the pieces when they arrive: smoke, moonlight, sound, or a short rest on selenite. Keep them out of water and salt. Break the flat down to suit your practice. Keep the larger pieces as altar or display stones, and set smaller ones aside for grids, pouches, or gifts. Place lepidolite where you want a quiet reminder: a meditation seat, a bedside table, the rooms where a household gathers. Handle the thinner pieces gently, since mica flakes. Refresh the cleansing now and then, and store the flat where it will not be crushed. Pairs Well With Lepidolite Tumbled Stones, 1 lb: the polished pocket form of the same stone. Lepidolite Free Shape, 0.5-1 lb: a single polished piece for the altar. White Howlite Tumbled Stones, 1 lb: a quiet-mind companion stone. Amazonite Tumbled Stones, 1 lb: a throat-and-heart stone to round out the calm. White Sage Smudge Sticks: the arrival cleanse for a flat of stone. Frequently Asked Questions How much lepidolite comes in a flat? Approximately three pounds, sold by weight rather than by piece. Because it is natural rough broken from larger material, the number and size of pieces vary from flat to flat. Does the lithium in lepidolite do anything? No. It is bound in the mineral structure and is not bioavailable. It is what makes the stone soft; it does nothing to your body or your mood, and lepidolite is not a treatment for anything. How should I cleanse and care for it? Gently. Lepidolite is a soft, layered mica, so it flakes and does not tolerate long water soaks or harsh salt. Use smoke, moonlight, sound, or a short rest on selenite, and store it where it will not be crushed. Who is a flat for? People who work with stone in volume: ritual group leaders building grids, teachers sharing pieces with students, and shop owners who break a flat down for resale. If you only want a single stone, a tumbled piece is the better buy. What does practice keep it for? Calm and gentle transition, in modern crystal practice. It has no entry in the older folk sources, so we assign it no element or planet.
