The G16 Prototype is a special variation of the G16 shape, created during the development process of the final mold. It wasn't the direction Mike wanted to take with the G16, but i t stood out enough on its own to become a limited-release shape. Compared to the standard G16, the Prototype has steeper kicks, while the regular G16 is smoother and more mellow. This makes the Prototype feel more responsive, and makes tricks feel crisp!
