The trim piece is powder-coated stainless steel to prevent dents or rust from rocks or other debris in your shoes, while the rest is powder-coated black aluminum for a polished look while being lightweight. We have also included an optional flooring extension to make it easy to extend your flooring. The 9mm flooring extension is marine-grade plywood with a satin poly clear coat that you can use as is, paint, stain, or have other flooring installed over the top.
