Inspired by Halley's 1910 patent for waterproofing textiles, this cloths finish is a combination of their driest wax and soft areo tumbling. Making it the perfect lightweight, breathable, weather repellent cloth for our coats. Over time the fabric will offer a soft aged appearance, keeping all the character of natural cotton. Your garment can be hand washed at 30 degrees, line dried and lightly ironed on a cool setting. It is recommended that you reproof your wax cotton garments regularly to extend its life.
