The Flexball 4500 EE series offers a versatile solution for vessels with electronic engine and gearbox control. Compatible with various electronic engines like Caterpillar, Cummins, Yanmar, FPT, Doosan, and more, Flexball provides tailored solutions for each engine model. It supports engine throttle input for Voltage (0.5-4.5V adjustable), Amperage (4-20 milliamp), CANBus, or PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). For electronic gearbox control, the EE series supports 12V or 24V solenoids used in Twin Disc, ZF, or DI Marine transmissions. Trolling options are also available. With the EE solution, only one actuator box is needed to control either single or twin engines in a vessel. The Flexball 4500-EE12 offers an extremely smooth feel and operates providing extreme precision control through the RPM range from idle to full throttle. The 4500-EE12 system is multivolt 9-32V. The actuator box is mounted within the engine room and connects electronically to the engine wiring harness and also to the electronic solenoids on the gearbox. It is important to note that whatever voltage is required to the gearbox solenoids is the voltage that the actuator box must receive from the vessel’s battery system. The 4500-EE12 kit includes all components required for connection.
