Made in USA. How to Sharpen your Blades Apply the polishing compound to the strop liberally. Drag your blade away from the cutting edge at a 15° angle, or when the bevel lays flat. Repeat several times on each side of the blade to polish the edge. When to use the Knife Strop Your tools can be kept sharp by using the Knife Strop periodically as you cut. A few moments taken to maintain the edge will save time & frustration & keep your tools in top working order. On softer woods, a few strokes should be given to each side of the blade every 20 - 30 mins. For carving harder materials, the frequency or number of strokes should be increased.
