πΎ Maximum Joint Protection for Serious Knee Injuries When your dog has a severe ACL tear, cruciate ligament injury, or is recovering from knee surgery, ordinary braces don't cut it
. The Single Leg Knee Brace Fixed Angle is the only brace in our lineup with a precision angle-locking dial β letting you set the exact degree of flexion your dog needs and lock it there, preventing any unwanted joint movement during recovery. Not sure this is the right brace for your dog? Read our complete knee brace guide to find the best fit before you buy. π©Ί Who Is This Brace For? This brace is for dogs with one rear leg that has a serious knee injury β a complete or near-complete ACL/CCL tear, severe cruciate ligament damage, or significant instability that requires the joint to be held at a fixed position rather than allowed to move freely. - The key feature that sets this brace apart is the red precision locking dial. Most braces use flexible stays or free-moving hinges that support the joint while still allowing natural movement. The Fixed Angle brace works differently: you set the exact angle of flexion your dog needs, and the dial locks the joint there. The knee cannot bend beyond that point during activity. - If your dog's injury is mild to moderate, or they need support during normal daily movement, one of our other braces is likely a better fit. Our complete knee brace guide explains the difference. β Why This Brace π Precision Angle-Locking DialSet the exact degree of flexion and lock it in place. The joint cannot move beyond the set limit during activity β providing maximum protection where free movement would cause further damage. 𦴠Removable Rigid Metal Support PlateA >-shaped metal plate reinforces the outside of the knee, preventing lateral collapse. Fully removable for cleaning, or to gradually reduce support as recovery progresses. πͺ’ Collar and Connecting Strap SystemAnchors the brace from above, keeping it firmly in position without slipping during movement β so your dog gets consistent support throughout the day. 𧡠Breathable Neoprene ConstructionLightweight and comfortable for daily wear without causing skin irritation or overheating. βοΈ Left or Right LegAvailable in both versions. Choose the leg that needs support when ordering. β
Ideal For Complete or partial ACL / CCL tears (one rear leg) Severe cruciate ligament injuries Significant knee instability or rear leg lameness Pre-surgery joint protection β limiting movement while awaiting surgery Post-surgical recovery β controlling range of motion during rehabilitation Patella luxation with serious instability Large breed dogs requiring single-leg support (Size L and XL) π§ How the Locking Dial Works The red dial on the hinge stabilizer allows you to adjust the joint angle in precise increments. Set the angle to match your vet's recommendation, then lock the dial. Once locked, the brace holds the knee at exactly that position and will not flex beyond it during walking or activity. As your dog progresses through recovery, the dial can be unlocked, adjusted to allow a wider range of motion, and re-locked. Many owners start with a tighter restriction in the early stages and gradually open the angle as healing progresses. Always follow your veterinarian's guidance on when and how to adjust. π Size Guide Measure your dog while they are standing. You will need two measurements: Waist β circumference around the waist, just in front of the hind legs Upper Thigh Circle β circumference around the upper thigh of the affected leg If your dog falls between sizes, size up. If you're unsure, contact us with your measurements and we'll confirm the right size before you order. π§Ό First Time Wearing Start with 5β10 minutes per session. Increase gradually over 7 days. Use treats and praise to build a positive association. Most dogs adapt within 2β3 days. - Remove the brace at night and during crate time to let the skin breathe. If you are using this brace pre- or post-surgery, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions on wear duration and activity restriction. π Not Sure This Is the Right Fit?
