Inspired by the architectural parti diagram of Marina City Towers, the iconic architectural landmark designed by Bertrand Goldberg in the mid-1960s that sits along the Chicago River in the heart of Ferrone’s hometown, Chicago, the Flight Collection is characterized by strong, simple lines and a combination of fluted and smooth glass. Flight blurs the boundaries between architecture and objects. Each piece is handcrafted without the use of molds by master glassblowers. The unique properties of the material allow for a range of hot and cold applications.
