The blocks are modern interpretation of sea gulls in flight and the color scheme gives the appearance of a typical V formation birds assume during migration. Pattern is an original paper pieced design by Smith's General (formerly Prow House Quilts). Includes 4 sizes: Baby, Throw, Twin and Queen. This pattern is great for the advanced beginner to intermediate sewer who would like to work with foundation paper piecing. Clear and easy instructions makes this pattern doable for even a first time paper piecer. Flight Effect would look great with neutrals, brights, solids or patterned fabrics and comes with a coloring page to help you pick your perfect colors.
