When I look at this image it makes me smile because the little plane gives the whole scene such a sense of scale. From the air, the salt fields were already incredible — huge soft panels of green, blue, pink and cream divided by roads and channels. Then the tiny plane appeared, and suddenly the scale of the landscape became clear. Flight Over Salt is part of my Engineered Horizons series. It was awarded 1st Place in Aerial Art at the 2026 IV Awards. Interior Design Suggestions Flight Over Salt is a wonderful piece for interiors that want calm colour with a point of surprise.
