It has a button band at the center back which is knit at the same time as the rest of the sweater - therefore there is no need to pick up any additional stitches apart from a few stitches under the arm when starting the sleeves. The raglan and button band continue seamlessly from the collar creating an infinity contrast to the reverse stockinette.
