Thermal Imager Cameras are designed to detect hot and cold spots during your investigation by translating infrared radiation into a visible image in various colors relating to their temperature. By looking at the screen of the handheld device, you can determine if the temperature change is caused by the spirit world or something you can explain - like for instance a person, animal, a heater or an air conditioner vent. The device picks up thermal radiation and converts that data in to pictures in different colors. Night vision cameras are completely different since they magnify light and do not display temperatures as images. How is it used for Paranormal Research? It's believed that the temperature signature of an entity can be seen on the screen of a Thermal Cam - making what is invisible to the human eye visible as a temperature deviation in the cam display.
