Solid steel floating shelf brackets, suitable for fixing to masonry walls or wooden studs in cavity walls (not suitable for steel studs or direct plasterboard fixing). Brackets support up to 25kg per pair when correctly installed into solid brick, block, or timber studs, spaced at a maximum of 600mm centres for shelves 200–250mm deep. Deeper shelves can be used with reduced weight capacity. Installation:• Bore a 13mm clearance hole into the shelf for the rod.• Drill a 7mm pilot hole for timber studs.• Use the supplied 10mm wall plugs in masonry; drill a snug 9–10mm hole, ensuring sufficient depth for the 70mm threaded portion. The 160mm x 12mm diameter support rod includes machined flats for 360° adjustment using a spanner. For custom floating shelves: minimum 18mm thick, 200–250mm deep. Use at least 2 brackets per shelf, spacing no more than 500–600mm apart, ideally fixing into the stud centre or solid wall.
