This pile driver design has been used throughout much of the 20th century, helping to build docks and piers on rivers, in harbors and lakes, shoring up coast lines and more. They were used by shoring contractors, railroads and municipalities. The deck itself, as busy and cluttered as your waterfront. A rewarding kit to build, with the aid of 3-D drawings and templates to take you step by step. The first craftsman kit we built was a similar pile driver by Fine Scale Miniatures, back in 1999.
