Our floaty hooded deck light, is quick to fit and shaded through 180 degrees to prevent dazzling - super important when you need to keep your night vision intact when portaging or when the light is forward of the cockpit. It comes with a 4mm tether point for extra security and (as the name suggests) it floats so is easy to recover if the light takes a knock and decides to go for a swim. We only use tried-and-tested heavy duty suckers but we always suggest you use the tether point too, to be on the safe side. Bear in mind that coloured options can tint the light and are not a ‘black-out’ option - they do glow through the hood. If you want to preserve maximum night vision, especially when using it as a front deck light, opt for black. Two-in-one design The unique two in one design means the light can be quickly removed and used as a clip-on personal safety light as well. Pop the light off the light holder body and snap it onto a pocket or strap on your PFD. The clip itself also has two holes on the back so can easily be tethered to your clothing for extra security.
