The Floks shawl is a sister design to Floks vest, featuring the “cat paws” lace motifs reimagined as blossoms, each one nestled inside its own garter-stitch “pocket”. It is a mini shawl, intended to be worn comfortably under a jacket, covering the back and wrapping around the neck. Romantic yet versatile, Floks shawl can be knit in a lightweight yarn for an airy layering piece or in a chunky wool for warmth and coziness. The shawl is worked top-down flat, starting from a triangular back panel and finishing with two wings. The wings are picked up from the cast-on edge of the back panel and shaped towards the tips with gradual decreases. Sizes The pattern is written for two sizes 1 (2) with a finished shoulder width of ca. 46 (58) cm // 18.25 (23.25) in and at least 50 (58) cm // 20 (23.25) in long (adjustable in length) wings.
