It is hand cut and oil finished with the utmost care. The lampshade is handmade through a multi-day process of steam bending the wood rim and oiling custom warm toned parchment paper. Unlike traditional lampshades, the oiled paper process allows light to permeate its semi-translucent sides, creating a warm soft glow in all directions. Brass elements are used to hold dual light bulbs to a perfect height to set the mood. Their golden metallic brass is a subtle detail that is only noticeable only when passing close-by.
