Multicolour Two Pack Epoxy Floor Paint is hardwearing, durable epoxy floor paint with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance for floors subject to medium to high levels of use. and general purpose industrial floor paint for concrete floors. The paint is resistant to splashes of petrol, lubricating oils, mild alkalis and dilute acid solutions (including battery acid), greases and water. The paint gives a smooth finish with a glossy finish The non slip version incorporates a hardwearing texturing agent to improve slip resistance still further without compromising on quality. Five standard colours are available to order, and other colours may be available subject to minimum quantities, Concrete to be painted should be clean dry, and free of dirt, dust, grease, surface laitence and other contaminants. New concrete should be fully cured and dry (typically 1 month per inch of concrete thickness). Power floated floors should be suitably etched or sweep blasted prior to painting, Old paints should be removed. If application to existing floor paints is carried out, the existing paint should be abraded and degreased and a trial patch applied to check adhesion. Heavily contaminated floors, or bare concrete that has become saturated with grease and oils will not allow satisfactory adhesion of floor paints. On bare concrete we would recommend the application of a first coat of Multicolour Two Pack Epoxy Floor Paint, thinned 10-20% with Multicolour Epoxy Thinners PR05 to act as a sealer coat. One or two unthinned coats should then be applied as, allowing overnight drying between coats. Care should be taken with temperature, Epoxy Floor Paint will not cure if the ambient temperature , or the temperature of the floor, is below 10 C.
