The original of this piece is the largest work I've made to date. It measures 3 feet by 4 feet and is filled with layer upon layer of paper, spray paint, acrylic, stamps, image tra nsfers, thread, and gold leaf. One of the layers is a complete sketch book filled with dancing women, journaling, and collage. Between the leaves of this sketchbook, I sprinkled herbs, spices, photos from my past, and rusty metal bits, before binding it in muslin and twine. I plunged this bundle into a cauldron of boiling tea and let alchemy complete the transformation. The dancer in this piece is growing into her next creative phase, the second act. About the Original The original is 3x4 feet on a birch panel with 2 inch sides and is available for purchase. Contact me if you are interested in adding the original to your art collection. About the Print This beauty is hand-embellished with a gold leafing pen and glints when the light falls gently on it. With this hand touched feature by the artist, each print is uniquely different. This piece is also printed on bright white, archival, 340 gsm cotton fine art paper. It is acid, linen and chlorine free. The cold press quality of the paper provides an elegantly textured finish, enabling rich, deep blacks and an incredibly wide color gamut. There is a 1 inch white border around the print image. Please note that this is an 11x14 print and will arrive without a frame. It will, however, easily fit into a standard 11x14 inch frame of your choice. Show more
