A one-of-a-kind handmade frame— whimsical, witchy and feminine, for those who find beauty in the things the forest leaves behind. There are gardens that do not grow in sunlight. This one was assembled in quieter hours — a rabbit pelvis at its centre, wide and pale as a full moon, surrounded by the soft chaos of a meadow that never quite existed: dried flax and wheat, preserved moss, pinecones, crystals of quartz, and flowers in violet, rose and white. A fragment of a guinea fowl skull rests among the blooms, its bony casque half-hidden beneath a peony, as though it had simply decided to lie down there one afternoon and never got up. The back is finished with lace trim and bears the Morbid Oddities studio label. _______________________________ Details: Real preserved rabbit pelvis Fragment of guinea fowl skull with natural bony casque Crystals of quartz Dried flax and wheat Preserved moss, pinecones and dried flowers in violet, rose and white Black velvet backing Hand-cast baroque frame, antique gold finish Back finished with lace and Morbid Oddities studio label _______________________________ The frame is entirely handmade from start to finish.
