Florapeel from V. MANE Fils is a highly diffusive floral grapefruit base built around their captive molecule Bigarane. It shares a clear familial connection to Bigaflower and Green Catcher and can be combined with either or both of those bases to great effect. In a world where grapefruit notes are extremely popular and natural grapefruit, while readily available, often needs some help from synthetics — invariably methyl pamplemousse — this is a welcome addition to the perfumer's palette. This joins our two other great bases: Firmenich's Grapefruit Base 184062D and our own highly popular Pomelo Grandis (“This captures the essence of the entire fruit, without the risk of degradation.” — J. Y. S.).
