Meet Florence the flaming Flamingo. My sister and I once lived in Africa and volunteered for an aids prevention program in Kenya. On a weekend off we snuck away and visited Nakuru National Park across the neighbouring border in Tanzania (circa 2005). Nakuru is a magical place where you can spot thousands of pink flamingos grazing at the watering hole surrounded by wildlife. The sight was magical and has been imprinted on my mind. I have loved Flamingos ever since. Meet Florence, she is bright, colourful, happy and fluro pink. She looks magical in a little girls room. My daughter Issy once had the original Florence hanging in her room and was sad when it sold. Painted using premium acrylic paints, mixed mediums, and a touch of my signature gold detail.
