Florex (also known as Tonka Undecanone) is a powerful and long lasting lactone with a clearly coumarin note but nuances of wood and amber. In Firmenich's own words: “A very powerfu l and tenacious balsamic, Tonka-like note with a unique tangy quality. It has a sweet yet tart character that suggests tobacco and coconut with a green nuance.
