MAGIC SURFGet that vintage snake flow with our modern blended wax.Months of R&D went into making this custom-blended surfactant. Magic SURF can also modify our modern wax to be used with smaller lamps, including the 20 oz., Capri, Consort, Mediterranean, and Mathmos Jet series, etc. Magic has been used with other modern waxes; however, we cannot guarantee that it will work with all others. Available in 1/2oz, 1oz, and 2oz bottles NOT for use with vintage wax NOT for use to coat the globe. Use only as a fluid additive. Instructional Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/aDCQrKBqU88 DirectionsCoat the globe with normal SURF as directed in the restoration instructions available under the tips and tricks heading of this website. Use the supplied pipette to add in 1 ml increments of Magic Surf to the globe fluid until the desired flow is achieved when it reaches a normal operating temp of 125F. Wait 1/2 hr. between adjustments for the Magic Surf to fully saturate the fluidSUGGESTED amounts of Surfactant and MAgic Surf are in the chart below (DO NOT EXCEED)12oz. 2-4 ml of SURF + add 0.5-2 ml of Magic Surf as needed 20oz. 4-6 ml of SURF and 1-3 ml of Magic Surf as needed 32oz. 8-10 ml of SURF or optionally add 1-3ml of Magic Surf as needed 52oz. 15-17 ml of SURF or optionally add 2-4ml of Magic Surf as needed Tip: The more you use, the more you will break the surface tension of the wax and snakey blobs will be created. If you use too much Magic Surf, you will experience multiple balls and possible micro-bubbles of wax. To repair this issue, let the globe cool and simply remove some fluid from the globe. Replace the removed amount with distilled water to rebalance the level of Magic Surf.
