Picking out the constructs of painting, I find the process of looking a transformative experience – it's not about looking at a picture or a narrative, but a physical experience. O ne feels the thought process made manifest by the materiality of the paint and the gesture of the artist.My work doesn't offer a point of focus. The eye wanders around using peripheral vision, like a meditative dance where one is touching with one's eyes. Informed by an extensive daily drawing practice of geometric formation, found images and nature, lines forms and colours are deconstructed and recombined. Show more
