Flume Vol. 2 is part of an ongoing series that uses experimental techniques mirroring the cyclical, generative process of fountains. Built through repeated acts of application, rem oval, and glazing, the painting develops through shifting layers. The compositional and visual rhythms in my work have become a personal metaphor for cycles of tension and growth in my own life: periods of intensity give way to stillness, echoing the push and pull of transformation. The space within the painting remains deliberately ambiguous, representing both an internal emotional terrain and an external, elemental landscape—reflecting how change moves through and around us simultaneously.
