Fluor-Buergerite is a rare species within the Tourmaline Group and this excellent small cabinet specimen is from its type locality in the Mexquitic de Carmona Municipality of San L uis Potos' State in Mexico. Perfectly developed equant and elongated Fluor-Buergerite crystals are richly distributed throughout a surface of salmon pink Feldspar coating a light grey granitic matrix. The Fluor-Buergerite forms sharp prisms up to 1 cm long of opaque chocolate-clove, all with a beautiful glassy bright lustre. Show more
