Get started fly fishing with The Northern Angler These classes are a full-day introduction to everything you need to get started in fly fishing. The course runs roughly from 8:00am to 4:00pm and is open to everyone ages 16 and up. Class sizes are small to ensure personalized direction and support from experienced instructors. Topics we'll cover include: equipment, various casts and their applications, ethics and etiquette, fish behavior, and knots, among other topics. Additionally, and most excitingly, you'll have the opportunity to practice and apply what you've learned on the water while fishing with a guide for bass and bluegill on a local lake. *Please include any special dietary restrictions or allergies in the notes section at checkout. **If you have a group, we would be happy to put together a private class for you on a different date.
