Learn to Tie Your Own Flies in Our Basic Fly Tying 101 Class! Many anglers find it enjoyable to spend the winter months tying their flies for the next years fishing season. This is a very basic workshop that is geared toward beginners and for those that just want to brush up on their techniques. Class starts promptly at 10am on scheduled dates. (approximately 2.5 hour workshop) Held at our fly shop in Edinburg, VA in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley Each student will be taught to tie one dry fly, one nymph, and one streamer that are known to be effective all across the country. We do not supply the materials for this workshop. You can purchase one of our basic fly tying kits, bring your own materials, or just watch as our instructor ties the sample flies. Class size is limited so pre-registration is required.
