We're proud to offer our FREE Fly Tying 101 Classes this season, but we understand many people are looking for more in depth instruction. So if you’ve already taken our FREE Fly Tying 101, and are wondering where do we go from there? Our Fly Tying 201 Course, thats where! Never fly tied before? Know someone who wants to learn? Been a long time since you've touched your fly tying gear, or just ready to step up your fly tying knowledge? Then this is the perfect opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and guides who want nothing more then to expose more people to the wonderful sport of fly fishing. What better way to bring in the Spring season. Our Fly Tying 201 Course takes place in our newly built Tying room/classroom crested specifically for education and instruction. In our Fly Tying 201 courses members will learn about the basics of:-Equipment (Vises, tools, & accessories)-Materials (what to look for and how to utilize them)-Basic Techniques (How to perform the most common fly tying procedures and proper form)-Tie Flies (Your Instructor will walk you through the step by step procedure for tying several popular & universal fly patterns) The course registration is only $100. Equipment is also available for those who may not have their own (we encourage people to take the course before trying to buy their own equipment. Learn what you’re really looking for and what to avoid, such as overpriced gear and gimmicks). Our half day course will give anyone the basic skills and knowledge needed to enjoy and pursue the wonderful art of fly tying. We want to get as many people involved in this incredible sport as possible, so we're also going to be offering an incentive program for anyone who refers a friend. Every time you refer a friend, and they come to their FT201 course, you'll get a $10 store credit. The more people you refer the more credit you can rack up!
