If you're heading to Alaska for silver salmon, you have to take a handful of the Foam Top Wog. The Foam Top Wog is the best of the "Poly Wog" style of silver salmon surface flies w e have seen because it is easier to cast yet still makes lots of surface disturbance. Wake them across the surface with a floating line and wait for those hook noses to come out of the water and grab them.
