Suitable for all skin types Fragrance free Benefits 1 - A beneficial step in every skincare routine Dermatologists and skin experts agree that the initial phase of an effective skincare routine involves the use of a high-quality chemical exfoliant. This is based on the scientific understanding of the exposome: the set of environmental factors to which the skin is constantly exposed, such as impurities, air pollution and free radicals, which accumulate on the skin. This accumulation can lead to oxidative stress, a situation in which the cell can no longer control the excessive presence of toxic molecules, mainly from cellular respiration. This causes skin barrier inflammation and interferes with the optimal absorption of topical skincare products.Regular chemical exfoliation with glycolic acid can have several benefits for the skin such as: Increases cell turnover for a smoother, brighter and more even complexion Stimulates collagen synthesis to reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles over time Stimulates glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) synthesis, responsible for skin hydration and plumpness Enhances product absorption such as moisturizers and serums, leading to better results 2 - A crucial step in the chemical peel protocol The chemical exfoliation provided by Foamer 5 and Foamer 15 is a key step of the chemical peel treatment protocol, whether it is to prepare the skin before the peel, as part of the in-clinic protocol or to boost results after the treatment to optimize its efficacy.
