Focus Sim Racing Wheelbase Side Mount Pro The Focus Sim Racing Wheelbase Side Mount Pro is a rigid, configurable mounting system designed for modern direct drive wheelbases. Built around high-strength materials, precise fitment, and useful adjustment, the Side Mount Pro provides a solid connection between your wheelbase and aluminum profile chassis without sacrificing driving-position flexibility. Multiple versions are available to support different wheelbase mounting styles, including modular front plate compatibility and dedicated direct side mounting for select Fanatec, SIMAGIC, and MOZA wheelbases. Every configuration also includes 45mm of integrated fore-aft adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune wheelbase position independently of your chassis uprights. Choose Your Side Mount Pro Configuration Different wheelbases use different mounting locations and chassis widths. Choose the Side Mount Pro configuration designed for your wheelbase and confirm that your chassis falls within the listed mounting-width range. Modular Edition The Modular Edition is the most flexible version of the Side Mount Pro. It supports direct mounting for compatible Fanatec wheelbases while also working with the Focus Sim Racing front plate ecosystem for additional wheelbase compatibility. Direct Fanatec Compatibility: Fanatec Podium DD1 Fanatec Podium DD2 Fanatec CSL DD Chassis Mounting Width with Fanatec CSL DD: 545mm–625mm Chassis Mounting Width with Focus Front Mounting Plates: 580mm–660mm Compatible Focus front mounting plates allow the Modular Edition to support additional wheelbase platforms without replacing the complete Side Mount Pro assembly. SIMAGIC Edition The SIMAGIC Edition is a dedicated direct side mount configuration designed around compatible SIMAGIC wheelbases. The wheelbase mounts directly between the Side Mount Pro brackets for a rigid, compact installation. Compatible Wheelbases: SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Sport SIMAGIC Alpha EVO SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Pro SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra SIMAGIC Alpha Mini SIMAGIC Alpha SIMAGIC Alpha U Compatible Chassis Mounting Width: 520mm–600mm Note: The SIMAGIC Edition is a dedicated direct side mount configuration and is not compatible with Focus front mounting plates. MOZA R21 Ultra / R25 Ultra Edition The MOZA R21 Ultra / R25 Ultra Edition is a dedicated direct side mount configuration engineered specifically around the mounting geometry of MOZA's high-torque Ultra wheelbases. Compatible Wheelbases: MOZA R21 Ultra MOZA R25 Ultra Compatible Chassis Mounting Width: 525mm–605mm Note: The MOZA R21 Ultra / R25 Ultra Edition is a dedicated direct side mount configuration and is not compatible with Focus front mounting plates. 45mm Integrated Fore-Aft Adjustment Every Side Mount Pro configuration includes 45mm of front-to-back adjustment. This allows you to move the wheelbase closer to or farther from the driver without repositioning your seat or moving the chassis uprights. 45mm of fore-aft wheelbase adjustment Fine-tunes steering position independently of the chassis uprights Useful for adapting the rig to different drivers and seating positions Slotted mounting points lock securely once the desired position is set Purpose-Built Construction The Side Mount Pro uses different materials where each provides the most benefit. 10mm CNC-milled aluminum chassis brackets provide a strong, precise connection between the Side Mount Pro and the chassis uprights 5mm laser-cut steel wheelbase brackets provide stiffness at the wheelbase mounting points where steering loads are transferred into the chassis Aluminum extrusion side arms connect the chassis brackets and wheelbase brackets into a rigid mounting structure Major components are finished in black powder coat for a clean, durable appearance This hybrid aluminum-and-steel construction provides rigidity where it matters while keeping the complete assembly clean and compact. Fitment & Compatibility The Side Mount Pro is designed for aluminum profile sim racing chassis. Because chassis widths and upright spacing vary between manufacturers, compatibility depends on both your wheelbase configuration and the distance between your mounting locations. Modular Edition with Fanatec CSL DD: 545mm–625mm chassis mounting width Modular Edition with Focus Front Mounting Plate: 580mm–660mm chassis mounting width SIMAGIC Edition: 520mm–600mm chassis mounting width MOZA R21 Ultra / R25 Ultra Edition: 525mm–605mm chassis mounting width The Side Mount Pro may also fit aluminum profile chassis from other manufacturers when the chassis mounting width and extrusion layout fall within the range required by your selected configuration. We recommend measuring the distance between your chassis uprights or mounting locations before ordering. It needs to transfer steering forces into the chassis, maintain alignment, and give the driver enough adjustment to achieve the correct seating position. The Focus Sim Racing Wheelbase Side Mount Pro combines rigid materials, configuration-specific mounting, and integrated fore-aft adjustment into a system designed around modern direct drive hardware. Rigid where it matters. Configured for your wheelbase.
