The Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre is a 10-in/4-out USB-C audio interface built around two high-performance Clarett+ mic preamps with all-analogue Air mode, delivering 24-bit/192kHz conversion and up to 124dB dynamic range on its line outputs. Preamps and Air Mode Each preamp offers 57dB of gain with an EIN of -129dBu. The Air circuit uses relay-controlled analogue circuitry to replicate the impedance and high-frequency character of Focusrite's classic ISA 110 transformer preamp. Two high-impedance JFET instrument inputs on the front panel preserve the natural tone of guitars and basses. Eight channels of ADAT optical input allow expansion with external preamps for larger sessions. Power The 2Pre is bus-powered from a 15W USB-C port. The included 12V DC power supply covers systems that cannot deliver sufficient USB power.
