The Focusrite RedNet X2P is a compact 2x2 Dante audio interface featuring two Red Evolution mic preamps, stereo balanced line outputs, and a stereo headphone amplifier. It adds high-quality analogue I/O to any Focusrite Red interface or Dante audio-over-IP system, with power, audio, clock, and remote control delivered over a single Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet. Preamp Features and Foldback Monitoring The two Red Evolution preamps accept mic, line, or instrument sources on rear-panel locking Combo XLR/TRS connectors, providing up to 68dB of digitally controlled gain with per-channel phantom power, high-pass filter, polarity inversion, stereo linking, and Air mode. A local input mix crossfader blends the analogue inputs with audio received from the Dante network for "more me" style foldback monitoring. A control lockout mode prevents settings from being changed when the unit is deployed remotely. Connectivity 2 x locking Combo XLR / 1/4" TRS inputs (mic, line, or instrument) 2 x male XLR balanced line outputs 1 x 1/4" TRS stereo headphone output 2 x etherCON Dante ports (compatible with standard RJ45, integrated switch for daisy-chaining) Power: PoE (on primary network port) or included DC power supply Specifications Preamp gain range: 0 to 68dB in 1dB steps Max input level: greater than +24dBu EIN: less than -130dBu (A-weighted) Line output dynamic range: 120dB (A-weighted) Headphone dynamic range: 117dB (A-weighted) THD+N: less than -103dB (0.0007%) Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz, +/-0.2dB Headphone impedance: 32 to Ω Line output reference levels: up to +24dBu Sample rates: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96kHz at 24-bit AES67 compliant Mic stand mountable (threaded bush on base)
